Frequently asked questions

Answers about WeatherX Earth: what it is, where the data comes from, how far ahead it goes, and what Pro+ includes.

What is WeatherX Earth?

WeatherX Earth is an interactive 3D weather platform that shows real-time precipitation, AI radar nowcasting, snow depth, frost and upper-air data on a live globe. You can explore current conditions freely — no sign-up required.

How do I navigate the globe?

Click and drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, and right-click drag to tilt. On mobile, one finger rotates, pinch zooms, two fingers tilt. The time slider scrubs through the timeline.

Does it work on mobile devices?

Yes. WeatherX Earth is fully optimized for mobile browsers, with touch gestures for rotate, zoom and tilt. Use a modern browser like Chrome or Safari for the best experience.

Where does the weather data come from?

Everything you see is produced by our own HORIZON model family — real-time, minute-scale storm tracking, corrected for local distortions and continuously scored against what actually happened. It is not a single day-ahead forecast; it is verified nowcasting.

How accurate is it, and how often does it update?

AI radar and nowcasting refresh every few minutes for a near real-time view, and every signal is scored against ground truth. That verification habit is what lets teams rely on it operationally.

How far ahead does it go?

Free users explore every parameter — precipitation, snow depth, frost and upper-air — with a 3-day window and 90 minutes of AI radar. Pro+ unlocks the full 10-day view and 6 hours of AI radar nowcasting.

What does Pro+ include?

Pro+ extends the window from 3 to 10 days across every parameter, adds 6-hour AI radar nowcasting, variable playback speed, loop mode, premium basemaps, 4K video export and more watchlist locations. Pro+ starts from €7.99/mo.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from Account Settings → Manage Subscription. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards via our secure, PCI-compliant processor, Stripe.
